Dr. Nicole Stevens, Ph.D. explains more of the science. Whey protein is chosen because it is one of the most nutritionally complete protein. It is also highly digestible due to its amino acid profile. Metabolic activity includes catabolic and anabolic processes. As we digest the Whey Protein our bodies catabolic processes are breaking down the protein strains into individual amino acids.
