Christmas Spirit 🎄Fudge
This is a simple and hassle free way to make fudge. Does not require cooking over the stove or baking. If I can do it then anyone can do it 😜
All you need is:
White chocolate chips
Vanilla frosting
Food coloring (I used Betty Crocker's gel food coloring)
Microwaveable bowl
8X8 dish
I then covered the 8X8 dish in foil. You then want to coat the foil so the fudge won't stick later so I used butter 🧈. You may use cooking spray instead if desired.
Next empty all the white chocolate chips in the bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Here I already microwaved the chocolate chips. Add the whole container of the vanilla frosting and microwave for 30 seconds.
After the second round of microwaving then I used the spatula and stired the mixture until smooth. If needed can microwave again in 15 second intervals until all melted and smooth.
From here you'll need to split into thirds. Keep one bowl white, one bowl green and one bowl red. Keep adding food coloring until you get your desired color.
Here I would have loved to have added into only one of the bowls 1-2 drops of Peppermint essential oil. I didn't remember until I was already done. I didn't have enough to make more. I would love to hear any comments from those who tried it with the essential oil how it turned out.
Next from here just take big dollops and alternate colors into the 8X8 dish. Doesn't have to be perfect that's what makes it fun. My husband even had fun by taking turns on each color and plopping each spoonful in.
The bottom layer will be the top when done. So once that was all filled in I ran the knife back and forth to give it that feather look. I went from side to side then up and down.
We had enough of the plan white left that I covered the top so it would have a white bottom and a marbled look on the top when it's flipped over. Place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to allow to set up.
Once the fudge has set up just lift out by the foil and flip over. The foil came off so nicely didn't stick at all. Cut it in 8X8 small cubs. This made 60 cubs. This was fun to make and cute little fudge bites for Christmas get togethers. Can make ahead and store in the refrigerator.
