Gratitude Meditation Essential Oil Blend
Gratitude Meditation
Ingredients:
2 Drops Green Mandarin
1 Drop Marjoram
2 Drops Cedarwood
How to Use this Essential Oil Blend
#1 Set a timer for 10-30 minutes
Timekeeping can be a mental distraction.
So, to keep your focus on your meditation, set a timer with an alarm.
And until the alarm goes off, dedicate your full attention to the meditation.
#2 Set the blend diffusing and sit in a comfortable position
Find a private, quiet, and comfortable (not too hot or cold) place, where you can diffuse your blend and meditate without disruption.
As soon as you have the blend going, sit so that you are comfortable, supported, and upright (you may prefer sitting cross-legged on the floor or in a chair with your feet flat on the floor).
Once you are seated, take in and release a few deep breaths, savoring the blend and trying to release any tension you are holding in your body.
#3 Practice gratitude
This can be done in a number of ways:
You can use a mantra, such as “I am grateful for _________” filling in the blank each time with a different person, place, thing, or event that you are grateful for.
You can consider one element/area of your life at a time, all the goodness therein, and all that had to happen/be in order for you to have that part of your life.
You can look at the irritations in your life and find ways to put a grateful spin on them. Though we can't control much of what happens around us. Learning to tap into this calmness is different for everyone but recognizing how you do it for yourself can make life a more peaceful journey.
You can follow a guided meditation from Youtube or a wellness website.
Sleep Wellness Program
The Sleep Wellness Program has truly helped me recharge and take time for myself to slow down and appreciate the goodness in my life. I highly recommend this wonderful program, in each kit of 3 includes a gratitude journal as well. That was the first time I ever written down all the things I'm grateful for and find my self-acceptance.
It isn't selfish to chase your dreams - and it isn't selfish to spend time dreaming, either. while we often feel compelled to be productive at all times, the truth is that sometimes, it's okay to just be. In fact, it's essential! This Gratitude journal is meant to help you slow down and leave a little room for nothing every day, because nothingness should be penciled in, too. The world needs a well-rested you, and all the aspirations that come along with you. Together, let's spend some time at the end of each day appreciating you before drifting off to sleep. We're willing to be that you spend plenty of time already focusing on how to change, and not nearly enough time thanking yourself for the contributions you bring to the world every day without even noticing.
Well, we notice you.
And we're ready to help you notice you, too.
