Thanksgiving
We celebrate this day as we gather together with loved ones, family and friends, to give many thanks for our blessings, the fruit of our labor as an award with a bountiful meal. This is the time to gather together with loved ones sharing wonderful memories, at the true heart of the home, the family table, and giving thanks, enjoying the smiles on each others faces and the company.
With the business of our lives it's even more important to keep those traditions alive by simply setting the stage it's nothing to fuss over or stress on. To bring that warmth of the home simply transform the tablescape with a simple linen or a decorative runner down the table. Swap out the overhead lighting with tea candles or candles on the table. To encourage a slower pace and a sense of belonging for each family member set each individual settings at the table instead of a serve yourself buffet. The settings do not have to be perfect or shinny centerpieces, instead have the food as the center piece, the perfect visual appeal of what you are about to eat. As a kid growing up the simple joy of seeing the food in front of me watching the bowls of food being passed around in a circle getting closer to being my turn would build that excitement. Looking back on that was a wonderful lessen for me, how to have proper table manners, being patient and knowing how to ask, "please pass the potatoes or please pass the stuffing and thank you." Most importantly not to rush the meal instead linger and enjoy!

PILGRIMS
WHAT YOU NEED:
• empty essential oil bottles
• felt• colored paper
• yarn or embroidery floss
• hot glue
DIRECTIONS:
1. First get an idea of what you want your pilgrims to look like.
2. Once you have an idea, start with a base—we used black—and hot glue it to the bottle.
3. Cut out other desired pieces such as an apron, collar, shirt, bonnet, hat, etc. Hot glue them to desired areas. For the man’s hat, cut a circle with a hole in the center for the essential oil bottle. This will allow the lid to act as the top of the hat.
4. Once the basics are finished you can add details. Tie a bow for the woman with yarn or embroidery floss, add a belt buckle with yellow felt or paper—whatever your heart desires

• empty supplement bottle
• feathers
• spray paint
• hot glue gun
DIRECTIONS:

You can utilize paint, felt, or paper. Cut your desired pieces out and apply them to the lid with hot glue, then glue the face to the bottle. Add whatever details you desire: more feathers in the front for wings, or feet to the bottom of the bottle. Use your imagination
